• Knowledge or familiarity with Australia and experience working in an embassy or international organisation is desirable.
• The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 60,429,429 to VND 68,013,853, depending on skills and experience.
• Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade under the Strategic Communications Section, the successful candidate will be part of the Embassy team that leads Australia’s strategic communications and public diplomacy efforts in Vietnam.
• Applicants should have extensive experience in communications, public relations, media, marketing, public diplomacy, or a related field, with excellent English and strong Vietnamese communication skills.
• The successful applicant will be offered an initial One (1) Year non-ongoing employment contract with an option to renew for another (1) year or Ongoing/Permanent Employment.

• The Embassy of Australia in Hanoi is looking for a talented and energetic individual to fulfil the position of Strategic Communications and Events Manager (LE6). A merit list from this recruitment exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.
• The team works closely with the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to develop and implement communications strategies to maximise Australia’s visibility and influence in Vietnam.
• Proven expertise includes media engagement, social media and marketing content development, event management, people leadership, stakeholder networking and budget oversight.
