# Freelance Brief — Athlete Talent Acquisition (Peaxel) ## Context Peaxel is a free-to-play fantasy sports platform (peaxel.me) covering a wide range of sports disciplines (BMX, MMA, Cycling, Trampoline, Kiteboarding, etc.). Players build teams using cards of real athletes and compete for real cash rewards. No crypto, no NFTs. We're looking for active athletes on Instagram, in niche disciplines, to join the platform as "talents." ## Mission Identify, contact, and convince Instagram athletes matching our criteria to join Peaxel. ## Talent Qualification Criteria An Instagram account must meet **all** of the following criteria to be contacted: ### 1. Sport Vertical The talent must practice a discipline within one of these categories: - **BMX Racing** - **Mountain Biking (MTB)** - **Gym / Trampoline** - **Road Cycling** - **Fight Sports** (MMA / ONE Championship, Muay Thai, Boxing) - **Kiteboarding** - **Tennis, Rugby, Basketball** (secondary priority) ### 2. Age - **Between 18 and 35 years old** - The athlete must be an **adult in their country of residence** (18 minimum — check if the country has a different legal age of majority) - No overly senior profiles (do not contact athletes over 35) ### 3. Account Activity - At least **1 post per week** over the past few weeks - Account must be active, not dormant ### 4. Sports-Focused Content - Roughly **80% of the content** must be sports-related (practice, training, competition) - Not a lifestyle account with only occasional sports posts ### 5. Proof of Real Competitive Practice - The talent must be **affiliated with a club** (or equivalent: team, racing team, academy, federation) and **actively participate in competitions** - The account must show **concrete proof of competition or serious training**: photos/videos of tournaments, podiums, medals, matches, identifiable training sessions - **Warning — watch out for fake profiles**: some accounts feature nice posed photos in sports gear (e.g., a karate gi) but **never** show competition, an opponent, a ranking, or an actual result. These accounts should be excluded. - **Maximum level: professional athlete.** We are not looking for stars or world champions who are already heavily sponsored — prioritize club athletes competing regularly, but not at the absolute top of their discipline (consistent with our "second-tier league" approach already identified: Pro D2 rather than Top 14, continental championships rather than world championships, etc.) ### 6. Audience Engagement Follower count alone is not enough. What matters is the number of **comments** (not just likes) on recent posts, relative to account size: | Account size | Minimum comments per post | |---|---| | 2,000 – 5,000 followers | 20-30 comments | | 5,000 – 15,000 followers | 30-50 comments | | 15,000 – 50,000 followers | 50-100 comments | | 50,000+ followers | proportionally more (the ratio matters more than the raw number) | - **Minimum 2,000 followers** to be eligible - If an account has a large following but very few comments (e.g., 50k followers, 20 comments), that's a sign of a disengaged audience or bought followers → exclude ## Contact & Conversion Process 1. Identify a talent who meets all the criteria above 2. Contact the talent via Instagram DM using the message below (personalize the name/sport where possible) along with the provided visuals (text + 2 examples of talents already on Peaxel) **Reference message:** > Hey! Big fan of how you share your journey as an athlete. > > We're building Peaxel Game — players collect cards of top athletes like you, build a team every week, compete to rise the ranking and earn rewards. Multi-sports, with dedicated leagues per sport. > > Join 150+ athletes already on board and climb the leaderboard. > > For you: weekly performance rewards + 30% on every card sold. We handle everything, no exclusivity, totally free for you. NO CRYPTO, NO NFT - only cash. > > Learn more & Join now -> https://onboarding.peaxel.me (~1 min) > > Peaxel Game | https://game.peaxel.me **Important note on signing off**: the freelancer can sign the message however they like (their own first name, a handle, etc.), but **must never present themselves as a member of the Peaxel team** (no "— [name], Peaxel Team," no "I work at Peaxel"). They are acting as someone recommending/sharing Peaxel, not as an official company representative. 3. If the talent agrees to join Peaxel: - Send them the sign-up link (peaxel.me) - The talent must sign up **and** send a confirmation message indicating their Instagram handle (to link their profile) 4. Once sign-up is confirmed, send Peaxel: - The **screenshot of the DM** (the conversation where the talent agreed) - The name / Instagram handle of the signed-up talent ## Definition of a Validated Conversion (= Payment) A conversion is validated when **all three of the following elements are present and consistent**: - The talent has signed up on peaxel.me - The talent has sent a message confirming their Instagram handle - The freelancer has provided the DM screenshot matching that same account **Duplicate case:** if two freelancers contact the same talent and each provides a valid screenshot, **both are paid**. No arbitration needed. ## Compensation **$9 per converted athlete** (validated per the criteria above) - Payment only upon conversion (no payment for time spent) - No payment for outreach that doesn't result in a conversion - No payment for a talent who doesn't meet the qualification criteria (vertical, age, activity, sports content, proof of competition, engagement), even if they sign up ## Tracking A shared tracker (Google Sheet) will be provided for each freelancer to log their conversions: - Talent name / Instagram handle - Date of the DM - Screenshot (link or attachment) - Status (pending / validated / rejected + reason) ## What We Don't Want - Mass spam without real qualification - Contacts outside the defined verticals - Underage talents or those outside the 18-35 age range - Talents without a club/team and without competition participation - Accounts without proof of real competitive practice - Athletes already at the absolute top of their discipline (world champions, heavily sponsored stars) — we want club athletes who compete, not celebrities - Use of DM automation tools (risk of Instagram ban) — outreach must be manual Hình thức: Làm việc từ xa (remote).
